I build towers and stay in alot of hotels and the only good thing here is the bar that dosent serve food...but its attached to the hotel so ya don't have to stumble very far and catchin a buzz is about the only way to get a good nights sleep
Sleepless in Plainview
Room had a strong disinfectant smell, was shabby, and worn. Blankets were too thin. OK, we could live with that, just wanted a good night's sleep. THEN - about 2am the front desk assigned the room over us to a family with rambunctious children. How thoughtless is that?
BED BUGS! Avoid this place, had bed bugs in our first room and the whole place is dirty and smelled of smoke, even in the non smoking rooms.
Would neither stay here again nor recommend it to anyone.
My family and I arrived late at night and we checked into our room. It is well furnish, however when we turned on the air conditioner it gave an odor of a paint chemical. So we slept with the window slightly cracked. This is were the real problem began. The following morning, my brother requested extra towels which they did give us. We left our room for the day to visit family and left a sign to have our room cleaned. We returned late at night and our room was not made. We called the front desk about the room and they said they didn't clean the room because we had pets in the room (which was false because we didn't bring any) and also, because we didn't request for the room to be cleaned and only requested for extra towels. I explained to them we had no pets and we didn't know we had to ask for the room to be cleaned, I thought they automatically clean the rooms unless told otherwise. I wouldn't recommend this place, unless you want your room to be unmade with horrible customer service.
